Donalee Meek, LMSW

Donalee graduated from the University of Utah receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. After obtaining her nursing license Donalee worked in hospital nursing in pediatrics and labor and delivery for 11 years. She has also worked as a court appointed evaluator for 15 years. Donalee returned to Boise State University and received a Master's in Social Work. When not working Donalee loves adventuring with her own family and working in her garden.

Therapeutic Approach

Donalee is passionate about working with children, couples, and families. She enjoys integrating play, creativity, and mindfulness to help each client discover their strengths. Donalee uses a foundation of emotionally focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and play therapy to build on those natural strengths. She loves helping people learn new ways of moving through the world to become their own best selves and families. Donalee has received specialized training in suicide prevention, human sexuality, and Gottman method couple's therapy.
