Dianne Nichols, LMSW

Dianne earned her Master of Social Work degree from Boise State University and earned her undergraduate degree in Social Work at BYU-Idaho. Dianne has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, bereavement, trauma-related issues, and stress management.

Originally from the Midwest, Dianne fell in love with the area and has now spent nearly two decades based in Southeast Idaho. During her free time she enjoys exploring the mountains, reading, singing, and spending time with family.

Therapeutic Approach

Dianne is a trauma-informed therapist who applies a strengths-based approach. She has a fundamental belief that individuals are resilient, capable of growth and change, and posses innate strengths and abilities to overcome challenging life circumstances. She understands the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients through empathy and trust. Dianne incorporates DBT, CBT, ACT and mindfulness techniques to empower clients in their journey toward authenticity, living within their values, and achieving their goals.
