Mira Nielson, LPC

You already have the capacity for deep change within you—sometimes you just need help navigating the journey. As a humanistically trained therapist, Mira provides a grounded, modern, and non-judgmental space where clients can show up exactly as they are. She doesn’t just listen; she gently challenges her clients to step into their most authentic selves.

Mira specializes in working with individuals navigating the complexities of trauma, attachment and interpersonal issues, and ADHD. Together, she and her clients work to untangle past patterns, build practical, real-world strategies for current struggles with anxiety and depression, and develop skills to manage old survival mechanisms. Her goal is to help clients connect with their true selves and build healthy, meaningful relationships.

The Backstory: After earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Humboldt State University, Mira worked in the mental health field for several years before earning her Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Saybrook University in 2022. Today, she proudly serves the Idaho Falls community.

Outside the Office: Mira is a music enthusiast, avid reader, traveler, and dedicated pet parent.
