Pam Brown, LCPC

Pamela Brown, LCPC, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. She has worked in the mental health field since 2009 and is passionate about helping people discover their strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives. Pamela earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Music from Idaho State University and later completed her Master of Science in School Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University.

Pamela has extensive training in Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered therapy, and grief and trauma counseling. Her graduate studies included a strong emphasis on grief and trauma work, areas she remains especially passionate about today. She specializes in working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, emotion regulation, ADHD, behavioral concerns, family dynamics, life transitions, and self-esteem. Whether she is working with a child through play, supporting a teen through difficult transitions, or helping an adult gain new insight and perspective, Pamela focuses on meeting clients where they are and building on their existing strengths.

Known for her warm, authentic, and down-to-earth style, Pamela believes therapy should feel both meaningful and approachable. She values creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can be themselves while developing practical tools for everyday life. She also believes that humor, creativity, and genuine human connection can be powerful parts of the therapeutic process.

Outside of the therapy office, Pamela enjoys spending time with family, caring for her pets, reading, organizing projects, and embracing her inner nerd. She has a particular appreciation for creativity, problem-solving, and finding order within complexity—whether that means helping clients piece together new coping strategies or spending an afternoon building something one brick at a time. She believes growth often happens the same way: with patience, curiosity, and a willingness to keep building.
